Payment Policy

A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The balance or final payment is due 90 days prior to the commencement of your trip. If the reservation is made within 75 days of commencement, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you decide to cancel a safari after booking it, certain cancellation charges, will be payable to our supplier as your payments are immediately used to obtain lodging, tours and services at the best rates. You understand and accept when booking through us that you are bound by our supplier’s terms and conditions and accordingly any policies they may have on cancellation charges.

Cancellations received by us 90 days or more prior to departure are subject to a $500 per person cancellation penalty; cancellations received 89-60 days prior to departure are subject to a penalty of 20% of the total retail tour rate; 59-30 days is 50% of the tour rate. Cancellations received 29 days or less are subject to forfeiture of 100% of the entire tour rate.

Payment for Gorilla Permits is non refundable. Trip cancellation coverage is strongly recommended.

Traveler’s representation

The traveler represents that neither he nor she, anyone travelling with him or her in their party has any physical or other condition or Disability that would create a hazard to him or herself or other members of the safari.

Travel Insurance

Whilst we and our suppliers have the relevant insurance policies these are not necessarily applicable to individuals participating in an Uber Luxe Safaris experience.

It is recommended that you take out the relevant and adequate insurance to cover the activities you will experience during your safari and which provides coverage against lost or damaged luggage, and other benefits.

Unused Services

There is no right to a refund for any unused services. Changes in the Responsibility clause can be made only in writing signed by an Uber Luxe Safaris consultant.

Included in Quoted Itinerary

Accommodations as mentioned in the itinerary, arrival and departure transfers, all activities as mentioned in the itinerary using 4×4 land cruisers, meals as mentioned in the itinerary (BB and FB), flights(internal), park fees and permits , Emergency Medical Evacuation Services, services of a professional safari guide, baggage handling (weight restrictions on some internal flights may apply).

Not Included in Quoted Itinerary

International airfare, cost of obtaining passports, visas, travel insurance, excess baggage charges, extra meals not included in the itinerary, items of a personal nature such as drinks, laundry, communication (calls, faxes, emails, etc.), sightseeing not included in the tour, and deviations from the tour. Items not specified under inclusions.


Pallid Safaris does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip, including, for example, lodging facilities, Including, without limitation, various entities which may utilize the Pallid Safaris name, guides, entertainment, food or drink service providers, equipment suppliers, etc. As a result, Pallid Safaris is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity. In addition, Pallid Safaris is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any person or entity it does not own or control, nor for any act or inaction of any other third party not under its control.

Without limitation Pallid Safaris is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, death, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity of any kind which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation any willful or negligent act, failure to act, breach of contract or violation of local law or regulation of any third party such as an airline, hotel, bus, taxi, van or safari operator, local ground handler or guide, whether or not it uses the

Pallid Safaris name, financial default or insolvency of any supplier and/or restaurant which is to, or does supply any goods or services for this trip.

Activities that may be dangerous

As there are certain inherent risks in adventure travel, which include but are not limited to risks of hiking safaris, risks of doing the canopy walkways, risks of white water rafting, hot air balloon trips, dangers of attack by wild animals which could cause serious personal injury, inaccessibility to medical attention and difficulty of evacuation from remote locations in the case of medical emergency. The passenger assumes all such risks with regards to these possibilities. You should be aware that although precautions are taken by the suppliers to guard against such dangers, your safety cannot be guaranteed. You are free to choose any of the activities, however you must understand that such participation in these activities is at your own risk and Pallid Safaris assumes no liability in regard to these activities.


Pallid Safaris may take photographs or film of its trips and trip participants, and participant grants Pallid Safaris express permission to do so and for Pallid Safaris to use such for promotional or commercial use. Participants who prefer their images not to be used are asked to identify themselves at the beginning of their safari.


Lodges, hotels and sightseeing are all subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Pallid Safaris reserves the right to amend the order of the safari as necessary. Every effort will be made to operate the safari as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.

Force Majeure

Pallid Safaris shall not be liable to any party in relation to anything which, apart from this provision, may constitute breach of these terms and conditions and which arises by reason of force majeure, namely circumstances beyond control of either Pallid Safaris or the supplier , such as but not limited to, acts of God, acts of terrorism, perils of the sea or air, fire, flood, drought, explosion, embargo, riots, civil commotion or civil authority including acts of local government and parliamentary authority.

Payment of the tour constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set out herein and in more specific pre-departure documentation including the Tour Reservation Form and Travel requirements.
