Itinerary

Day 1
Day 1: Depart From Mairobi

The safari starts on its grand trek towards Amboseli National Park. Arrive for lunch at the lodge, at the foot of the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro which dominates everything in sight. Spectacular scenery. See the amazing wildlife, particularly the elephants, during the afternoon game drive. Dinner & Overnight at the Amboseli Serena lodge.

Day 2
Day 2:

Early morning gamedrive. Rest of the day at leisure after breakfast. Lunch and afternoon gamedrive follows. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge

Day 3
Day 3:

Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park. This scenic lake is famous for its millions of pink flamingoes. Arrive for lunch. Evening gamedrive, dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.

Day 4
Day 4:

After the early morning gamedrive and breakfast, the safari now heads to Masai Mara. Arrive before lunch. The afternoon gamedrives allows spotting of the unrivalled wildlife in the park. Overnight at Mara Leisure/ Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 5
Day 5:

Take an early morning gamedrive before breakfast. After breakfast, you can relax by the pool. After lunch, go for an afternoon gamedrive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure/ Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 6
Day 6: Conclussion of the safari !!!!

After your final early morning gamedrive, return to your lodge for a relaxed breakfast followed by check out and onward departure to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi mid afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

What is the best month to go on an African safari?

The best month to go on an African safari will depend on the climate. The seasons are however complex, which will depend on the game viewing experience you have. Peak season is between June and September, where the weather is hot and safari game animals are active across Kenya’s National Parks, including the Wildebeest Migration. However, going between January and March are also months where game viewing is at it’s peak and the weather is mild.
