Itinerary

After an early breakfast and hotel check out, you will be picked up from your hotel at 7AM and proceed to the Northern part of Kenya with a stop over at Nanyuki the Equator town. You will then continue to the camp for check in followed by lunch. At 3:30, you will visit the Chimpanzee sanctuary, followed by a short game drive. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 sq/km wildlife conservancy that is dedicated to conservation of Rhinos among other wildlife species in conjunction with cattle ranching. It is the home of the last 2 remaining Northern white Rhinos. It is also the largest Black Rhino sanctuary in East African and the hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. You will then proceed back to camp for dinner and over night.

Rise up early for breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Of special note, look for snow-capped Mt. Kenya, rising in the distance – the highest peak in the country and the second-highest in Africa. Look out also the aberdares ranges which are a source of water in the greater central region of the country. We will arrive at the lodge with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for an afternoon game drive in the park. Nakuru National Park offers you a rare insight into Kenya’s most diverse flora & fauna and it is famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingos. More than 450 species of birds have been recorded. Lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks, Pythons, and white rhinos are just some of the animals you might see. The park also protects the largest euphorbia candelabrum forest in Africa. In the evening you will drive back to lion hill Lodge for overnight.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Masai Mara National reserve via Narok the largest Masai town. Proceed to the reserve and check in at the Sentrim Mara Lodge for lunch. At 4pm you will embark on an afternoon game drive. Land of Big Cat Diary and Disney’s African Cats, the Maasai Mara is at the top of most people’s Kenyan safari wish lists. The location of the ’Great Migration’ – one of the natural wonders of the world – is a gloriously beautiful, wildlife-rich savannah landscape, once described by the eminent biologist Julian Huxley as ‘the only easily accessible and readily studied remaining portion of the world’s pre-human climax community at its tropical richest.’ It’s also a region where traditionally dressed Maasai still herd their cattle and goats in a lifestyle that in some respects hasn’t changed much since they first arrived here 350 years ago. You will then return to the lodge before dusk for dinner and over night.

Rise early today for breakfast. Be ready for a great full day game drive and picnic lunch along the Mara river. The park is also known for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lion, cheetah, and leopard. We will also see lots of Elephants, Masai giraffe, common zebra, impala, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest, Black-backed jackal, spotted hyena and more. You also have an option of visiting a Masai cultural village, The Maasai are proud pastoralists and warriors. Spend time in the “Manyatta” and immerse you in one of earth’s oldest cultures. The ladies and children will entertain you with traditional songs and while at the village see how they go about their daily lives in a very traditional way like making fire with stones and sticks. You will then return to the camp before dusk for dinner and overnight.

You will have breakfast at your leisure then check out from the camp. Your drive back to Nairobi will have a last minute shopping at Narok then proceed to Nairobi. You will arrive in time for lunch at the carnivore restaurant then there after you are transferred to your preferred destination.
