08:00 hrs start of Safari in Nairobi with a scenic drive down into the Great Rift Valley onwards to Masai Mara. Enroute briefly stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint where you can take photos of the stunning views of the world’s largest valley. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp depending on your booking preefernce. Enjoy some time at rest after which at 3.30pm you enjoy your very first African Safari gamedrive exploring the scenic Masai Mara plains, allowing you to spot the unrivalled wildlife in this reserve. By 6.30pm you return to your overnight lodge or camp. Overnight at Keekorok Lodge.
A full day in Masai Mara ! Start the morning with an early gamedrive before breakfast from 630am to 9am when you return to your lodge for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure – you may just want to relax by the pool or perhaps book an added activity such as a nature walk or a relaxing massage depending on accommodation booked { extra activities at additional cost}. (You may opt for a full day game drive in the park with picnic lunch) After lunch, proceed for your second afternoon to evening private gamedrive exploring more of the reserve’s wildlife. Breakfast at the lodge then check out. you will depart with a gamedrive enroute to the exit and proceed to Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya for locals and foreigners alike. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure – the lodge we book at the lake offer beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from waterbuck to warthogs. You may also choose to book a one hour Lake Boat Safari at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake’s wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes. Breakfast at the resort, 07h00 depart for Lake Nakuru national park. 08h00 arrive for park formalities and embark on a game viewing drive. Lake Nakuru national park is home to one of the most amazing ornithological spectacles in the world – the bird watchers paradise. Apart from the flamingos, the park has over 450 species of birds – a heaven for any avid bird watchers. The park is also a sanctuary to the highly-endangered black Rhino and abounds with other game such as buffalos, lions and the elusive leopard Lunch will be at the makalia falls picnic site. You will then proceed on a game drive as you exit the park. Return to the resort in the late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at leisure then check out and depart for Nairobi. Arrive and transferred to Carnivore restaurant for lunch. Carnivore’s specialty is meat, and features an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. They serve a wide variety of meat and were famous for their game meat until Kenya imposed a ban on the sale of game meat in 2004. You will then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport based on your flight schedule.
